BFG Sport Hybrid 32er: 32-Inch Wheel Hybrid Bike for Big and Tall Riders

The BFG, short for Big Friendly Giant, is a titanium hybrid bike built around 32-inch wheels and components selected for your proportions. Designed for riders from 5′9″ to 7′5″, the BFG Sport Hybrid 32er combines a custom fit with a sporty, upright riding position for commuting, fitness rides, coastal bike paths, and road and gravel adventures.

Big Wheels. Proportional Fit.

A bike for big and tall riders needs more than a larger frame. The BFG pairs its 32-inch wheels with proportional length cranks and extra-wide handlebars to accommodate longer legs and broader shoulders. We configure the build around your measurements so crank length and handlebar width are part of the fit, not afterthoughts.

A riser bar and performance comfort saddle complete the sporty hybrid setup, whether you’re riding across town or heading out for a longer fitness ride.

Titanium Frame, Carbon Fork, and Hydraulic Disc Brakes

The BFG combines a super durable titanium frame with a stout carbon fiber fork and hydraulic disc brakes. It’s a practical build for big and tall riders who want one bike for daily commuting, beach cruising, mountain roads, and gravel rides.

Handbuilt 32-Inch Wheels

We build the BFG’s wheels by hand at our shop in Boulder, Colorado, using our own Clydesdale hubs, which are rated for riders up to 450 pounds. Wheel selection and the rest of your build are configured around your size and riding needs.

Semi-Custom for a perfect fit

Clydesdale bikes use set frame sizes, with fit adjustments tailored to the rider. Rather than building a custom frame, we work from your fit requirements and select from the components we keep in stock.

• Fit adjustments: We customize crank length, stem length and angle, spacer stack, saddle width, and handlebar selection based on your fit.
• Accent colors: You can choose colors for the headset, spacers, and seat binder, plus handlebar tape on builds that use it.
• Wheels and tires: We select a wheelset and tires suited to your type of riding. We offer several tire options; contact us for the current selection.
• Frame Color: Frames come in bare titanium with anodized graphics. You can pay extra to have the bike painted any color you want. Please ask us for pricing on a custom paint job. 

Frame size is the starting point. These adjustments let us tailor the bike’s contact points to you. After you place your order, we’ll send instructions for submitting your measurements or arranging an in-person bike fit.
