Congratulations on your new bike. We hope you love it. We are here to provide you with the support you need to get your bike assembled and running smoothly for many years to come.
Before we ship your bike, we fully assemble it, test ride it, and have it checked over by all of the mechanics in the shop. In order to fit the bike into the box, we remove the front wheel, disconnect the handlebar from the stem, and remove the seatpost. All cables and controls remain connected to the handlebar. Some of the bigger mountain bikes and fat bikes might require us to remove the fork from the bike.
1. How to assemble.
Please click the button below for instructions on putting your bike together. If there is anything you need help with, don't hesitate to call our shop. Anyone in the shop can help you with assembly questions.
2. Keep your bike running smoothly from the beginning
Click the button below for our recommended maintenance program and things to check regularly. Bolts and components can loosen from vibrations in shipping and riding, so it's very important to read the maintenance instructions thoroughly before your first ride.
3. Break in period
All new bikes will settle in after a few weeks of riding. Things can loosen such as spokes bolts. Also cables can stretch and shifting can get out of adjustment. Read the maintenance instructions below for information on what things to check and adjust.
4. Bike Fit
Once you ride your bike, if you feel that you need to make any fit adjustments, feel free to reach out for help. We can help advise from discussion or photos of you on the bike.
5. Component exchanges
If you need to exchange any components on the bike such as saddle, stem, etc., we are happy to work with you. Our process for component exchanges is for you to purchase the new components and we ship them to you. Once you swap them out on your bike and send the original parts back to us we will refund you for the original parts. You are just responsible for shipping costs and any price difference between components.
