Why ride with a waxed chain?

We handle the preparation

Proper preparation is essential to effective chain waxing. Oil must be thoroughly removed, along with any residual cleaning solvents, before molten wax can adhere to the metal.

We take care of that initial cleaning and immersion-waxing process so you can start with a properly prepared chain, without doing the work yourself.

Simple ongoing maintenance

Once your chain is prepared and waxed, routine upkeep is straightforward: wipe it with a clean rag, then refresh the lubrication with a compatible wax-based drip lube applied to each roller, or remove the chain for another immersion wax treatment.

In dry conditions, expect approximately 300–500 miles between immersion wax treatments. Actual mileage varies with riding conditions and use.
